Question:
I have a complete set of 14 place settings of what I believe
Is very old Red Wing Pottery. It belonged to my grandmother who would be about 115 yrs. These dishes have been packed away for 45 years. They do not have the "Red Wing" name. My mother (she is 95) believes the pottery had paper labels on the bottom of the pieces. Can you tell me if this is possible?
I tried to attached a few pictures of a place setting. However,
I am using my iPad …and it appears the "chose file" option it not working. If you would like for me too send the pictures ,please let me know. I have many serving pieces as well.
Thank you for your help.
Linda

Minnesota Stoneware Co bottom marked – emailed for more info
Question:
I have several crocks that say MINNESOTA STONEWARE CO. on the bottom in raised letters in circle form with the word "REDWING" on the inside of the lettered circle. One crock is 5" high with a diameter of about 7 1/4". It is the same light tan color inside and out with no other decoration and looks like it might, at one time, have had a cover of some sort. Another crock has the same lettering on the bottom but with dots between each word on the outside circle. It is 6 1/2" high with a diameter of 5 7/8". Same light tan color inside and out. Both crocks have a raised double rim/lip. The third crock has a slightly darker tan exterior and a brown, glossy interior. It is 8 1/4" high with a diameter of about 8" and a single rim/lip. The lettering on the bottom is the same as the first crock described. Lee
