Question:
Hi there, I picked this old red wing crock recently and was wondering if you can tell me a little about it and what it might be worth. At some point it developed a stress crack and it looks like it has been super glued maybe? It still smells of pickles :) According to the lady I bought it from, her Aunt made spicy pickles in the crock and the were great! But she passed away and unfortunately she never documented the recipe. Anyway, thanks in advance for appraisal. Shawn

10 gallon crock
Question:
Hello, I found a 10 gallon crock on the side of the road complete with a lid. The crock has a large #10 on it in blue along with the red wing under it as well as the red wing stone ware stamp beneath it. The crock has wire with wooden handles on it. The lid fits on top and has a flower with a short handle on the top along with a 10 stamped into one of the petals of the flower. The lid is chipped in two places which is why I believe it was on the side of the road. The crock however is in perfect condition. I was wondering where I could find more information on it because I’ve never seen one as large as this one and how much it was worth including the lid. Thanks. Mick

I acquired what I believe to be a Red Wing Spongeware lid at an estate sale. It came with a #7 paneled sponge bowl but the lid itself is ribbed and just seems a little too small for the bowl. Any idea if this is a Red Wing lid and its value? Brad

5 gallon Red Wing Water cooler with lid
Question:
I have a five gallon Redwing Union Stoneware Water Cooler. I am suspicious of the lid. It is made in a rougher style, has a blue W and the #4 on it. The two blue paint stripes are like those found on Redwing products. There is a hairline crack which goes through the lib. Some chips on the underside of the lid. The spout is a pushbutton control not the butterfly spicket type. I would be pleased to know what the vaule might be and any history on the items. I received this when my mother passed but I have no idea where she got it. Thank you Pamela

What’s the value of an 8 gallon red wing churn with lid. The wing is 4 inches long and the markings are great. There’s a hairline crack on the side that stops 3 inches from the top and bottom so it’s still very sturdy. The crack doesn’t go to the bottom or rim. Thanks!! Jordan
