Red Wing Morning Glory Pattern

Question:
I was given an incomplete set of Red Wing dinnerware that I would like to sell. I would like to verify – is it the Pink Morning Glory pattern in the Concord series and was the pattern discontinued in 1947? If so, what is the range of the possible collective value of all of the pieces? Any other informtaion you can give me would be appreciated. Pieces: 1 serving platter (some water marks(?) on it and background network of cracks, 1 relish tray (excellent condition), 1 divided relish tray (2 small chips on rim), 1 casserole dish (no lid, faint background network of cracks), 1 small gravy boat or creamer (excellent condition), 1 sugar bowl with lid (excellent condition), 4 large dinner plates (background network of cracks and some water marks), 8 small salad plates (1 excellent condition, 7 with background network of cracks and some water marks), 7 saucers (1 with crack, all with background network of cracks), 8 small bowls (1 greatly discolored [brown] and some chips on rim, 4 more with chips on rim, and 3 with no chips – all 8 with background network of cracks), 8 tea cups (7 excellent condition, 1 with background cracks). These pieces say "Red Wing Pottery Hand Painted" on the bottom. The background cracks are not obvious until you look at them within a couple of feet or even up really close, except for the one small bowl that has a dark, stained, cracked area. Thank you!

4 Gallon, Salt Glaze with Birds

Question:
Hello, This crock features two quail or pheasants in grass. It is clearly midwestern and mint. But is it Red Wing? If so, what would it be worth? Would it be something to auction in your auction at the convention? Your help is appreciated! Duane Watson

Stoneware Bowl, Milk Pan

Question:
I have had this piece for about 30 years. I use it as a bread bowl,but believe it is called a milk pan. It is in good condition- no chips or cracks. It is a plain bowl- no artwork on the inside- and is signed "Red Wing, USA" on the underside. It is 12" wide and 6"high. As much as I love it, I no longer have room for it and need to find it a new home. I have no idea how to value it and would appreciate any information you can give me.

Rumrill Pitcher #50

Question:
I have a Rumrill #50 pitcher, light green on the top 2/3 and pinkish beige on the bottom 1/3. The stopper is original, no chips or cracks on either. Its in the Reiss art pottery book on pg. 133 and again on pg 178 in a different glaze. About how much is this worth? Thanks Gail

Answer: Hi Gail, I think your glaze is Autumn. The stopper is a plus, most are missing. Value is around 80.00 or so. thanks, steve n rose

Round Up Pattern Collection

Question:
I have several pcs’ of Red Wing Pottery Round UP Pattern, some I don’t even know what the pc’s are.Bowls, plates,cookie jar,salt & pepper shakers, cups, mugs, and I have other pottery as well. Vases, ash tray and a couple, pattern thigs I think they are. Some off white pc’s that look like they are dirty, but tha tis the way they were made. Cigaret holder, soap dish.
