Hi, I have a 15 gallon crock it measures 18.5" tall, and 17.5" wide across the top. It has a few hairline cracks, and a nick next to the 15 mark. It does seem solid. It has a big red wing underneath the 15, and below the 15 is an oval that measures 2" wide, and about 1.5" tall. It says Red Wing Union Stoneware Co. inside the oval. There is also a wooden lid that seems to have shrunk, and doesn’t fit the top it just slides down inside. It belonged to my Grandma, and she used to make pickles in it. Can you give me an approximate value?

I have inherited a bowl from my mother in law that has Red Wing USA on the bottom. The bowl is approx. 12" in diameter, 5" tall with an uneven edge, two sides curve upwards. It it beige in color with darker brown specks in the glossy finish. The bowl is in new condition with no chips, stains, or marks of any kind. Does this piece have any collectible value? Is this planter Red Wing pottery? From the bottom of the planter to the top of the tail it measures 9.25 in. Condition is excellent to mint with no markings or chips except there are little cracks all over the pc. under the clear coating. I’m not sure what you mean by glaze. I hope this is enough info. Answer: Hi, This isn’t a Red Wing product, I’m not sure who made it. Looks to be from the 50′s. The little cracks you describe would be what we call crazing. Value 15.00 or so. thanks, steve n rose
