Red Wing 1357 vase

Question:
Hi, I’m trying to find out information about a vase I inherited from my grandma. It has a grey exterior w/ a pinkish/orange interior. On the bottom it’s labeled "1357 Red Wing USA." It’s about 8" tall with what looks like leaves near the bottom. There are two handles, one on either side of the vase. Can you tell me when it was made & how much it’s worth? Thanks! Amy

Brushed Ware jar with oak leaves

Question:
My dark green brush ware mustard jar shaped pot, 26 inches around and 7 inches tall, has two ear type handles and oak leaves with acorns for the design (both front and back). The mark on the bottom is round and says Red Wing Union Stoneware Co, Red Wing, Minn. The mark has no design number and is the same dark green color as the pot. It has a glossy glaze on the inside surface of the pot. Sorry I don’t have the means to submit a picture. I would like to know approximate age and value. I did check the two books our library has, there were similar pots valued about $60 but I did not check age info. Appreciate your help.

Answer: hello, think you have shape #149, from Red Wing’s brushed ware line, circa 1930. I would give it a value of around 90.00. thanks, steve n rose
