Question:
I have what is believed to be an ashtray it measures 10 1/2 x 10 1/2 inches it’s butterscotch in color and is raised in the middle like a square island with 3 grooves on the top. On the bottom it has a marking that says Red wing USA M-3005. I would like to know its value,how rare it is,what era it came from it’s desireablity and any other information that you can provide me with. Thank You
Answer: Hi, this ashtray is from 1959, part of Murphy’s decorator line. The glazes are nice, kind of a crystalline type. Value is around 50.00 or so. thanks, steve n rose
