Saffronware Bean Pot, Red Wing

Question:
I picked this piece up many years ago and was wondering what it is? I always referred to it as a cookie jar although I doubt that is the true use. It is stamped red wing saffron wear on the bottom. It seems to have discoloring in the glaze from the bottom up to the slip bands, is that from heat? I also have a lid that fits it and is ribbed as well although it was cracked completely in half and repaired poorly. What era is this piece from? thank you for your time Jean

Question:
I am adding some information to the submission I made about 1/2 hour ago. Taking a photo of the bottom of the piece I see that the Blue Printed Round stamp mark actually says Red Wing Art Pottery, as can be seen in the attached photo.

Nokomis Pitcher, shape 207

Question:
This piece is 5 1/2" in diameter and 5 1/2" high. The opening is 2 1/4". Incised in the bottom is L08. Also on the bottom is a printed round blue label that says Red Wing (top of round) Pottery (bottom of round). In the center is a 3 character number of letters that I can’t really read but looks like 421. There are no chips of cracks on the pottery and it appears to be in perfect condition.

Red Wing USA incised on bottom. Approx 10 " tall with matching lid. Lid knob has flower shape. The cookie jar is oval in shape with what looks like leaves on the surface, they are incised into the body of the stone ware. The glaze is a medium blue with no other colors. It belonged to my mother & I remember seeing it when I was a child. I am in my mid 60′s at this time. Thanks. Joann
