Question:
I would like to know the value of a Red Wing pottery planter, circa 1930′s, brushed ware, 10 inches high, 12 inches diameter, light green flat finish with foliage design outside, light green glaze inside, good condition. Thanks. Naomi
Answer: Hi Naomi
there are several different shapes done in the brushed ware line, so this is just a guess. An average price would be around 100.00 or so. A pic would be great, or a shape number. thanks, steve n rose

Hello there, I recently came across and ashtray on a 2ft metal stand. It is a clam shell design in turquoise color, numbered 1567. Can you tell me more about this piece? Thank you Dan
My Mother-In-Law just gave me her Round Up Pottery. I have attached a picture of the items she had. A fairly large selection. I would like to know if some of these peices are rare. Like the salad dressing containers, etc. Can you give me an estimate of what this collection might be worth?
Question:
I bought a piece of what I believe to be the Red Wing Driftwood pattern at a local antique sale. There is a red marking on the bottom with a wing logo, and it says simply Red Wing Handpainted. The number "297" is printed beneath it. The plate is odd-shaped – neither round nor square. There is also a waffling type texture to the platter – it is not smooth. Can you give me a history of the piece and approximate background? It was purchased for $9. Thank you!
I have a 6" pitcher that has advertising from the Back & Bahls Co. There are no cracks but there is some minor flaking of glaze on the top and bottom ridge. First, where was Back & Bahls located and what is the value of the pitcher? Thanks, Lynn
I have several pieces of this set: water pitcher and buffet piece plus two bowls (large soup style) and a tea pot with lid. Can you tell me more about them or estimate a value? I have enclosed pics of the pitcher and buffet piece. thanks. Ginger
