Orleans pieces: covered bowl and plate

Question:
My sister and I have inherited some Red Wing pottery that was a wedding present to our parents when they were married in the 1945. The pattern is Orleans and I am wondering how old this set is and the value. We have 5 dinner plates, 1 large round serving bowl, 1 large platter, salt & pepper shakers and a soup bowl or sugar bowl. All are in fair shape as they were used and washed for many years. Photo attached. Thank you. Susan

2 gallon crock with albany slip liner

Question:
Hello, Can you please give me some information regarding these two crocks? Both have a brown glaze inside and do not appear to be marked or stamped. The 5 gal has what looks like an upturned leaf and the 2 gal almost looks like the cursive word zero written on it. Can you tell me more about them and an estimation of value? I appreciate your time, Martha

Pierre the Chef cookie jar

Question:
My husband’s mother gave him a Red Wing’s cookie jar serial #’s D-130,328 D-130,329 & D-130,320 appear on the bottom. It’s a yellow glazed "rolly-polly" chef 11" tall and 7" wide at the middle. I am one to actually use unique items and want to tell people about it but don’t have a clue it’s history other than finding this web site. More importantly, I have high energetic young boys. Is this item valued to the point I should pack it away until they get past the destructive stage :) No chips on the jar. I can see small dark spots underneath where the glaze has tiny cracks. Please inform us on this when you have a moment. Your time will be appreciated. Mary
