5 compartment nut bowl

Question:
I live down Hwy 61 from Redwing. Years ago, my sister bought me a Round 10 1/2 " deviled egg tray from a rummage sale. Recently I found a matching divided 14" relish/nut tray at an auction. I bought it because I knew I had a similar egg tray. I bought it and brought it home and it matches exactly. I love it! It is cream or egg shell white with a brownish rust spakling high gloss glaze. I am curious about the time or era that this was popular? Is there a dish set to go with this? What is the name of the color or pattern? Can it be found anymore? What is the value of this? It just says RedWing USA on the back; nothing more. There is no name or number on the back. Please advise? Theresa Speltz

Thank You to you Larry

Question:
Not a question–but a "thank you" (esp. to Larry R) that your website provided. We have a green Chef Pierre (although based on his lock of hair and moustach, my sister and I improbably nicknamed him "Hitler" many, many years ago!) My grandmother received this as a gift, here in NY, and he’s been a treasured family heirloom until this day. My Mom, who inherited the jar, is now 88 and lives with me, and the Chef, in perfect condition, sits on the kitchen hutch and still holds Tollhouse cookies! Someone at work today urged me to google and I found your site. It was nice to read up on the history of this piece. Thanks for maintaining a great website! Dedi

Lotus pattern

Question:
I was recently given my Mother’s wedding dishes. I believe they are the lotus pattern(square plates with a lily on them, cups are chartreuse). My parents were married in 1946. I want to know how I can purchase more pieces. I was always told by my Mother they were "discontinued" and unavailable. That comment was prior to internet. My daughter is crazy about them and would like to expand the set. I just joined your society today. Looking to buy! J Greenfield

Lotus Egg Plate

Question:
I was hoping to find out what the pattern name was on this piece as well as what the type of dish it is was called. I believe it holds eggs. It appears to be in very good condition. It has the red wing marking and a number on the back. I was also wondering what it might be worth. I picked it up today at my local thrift store. Thank you very much for your help.
