Question:
i have got 2 small red wing jugs i got at garage sales. one says "red wing collectors society 1992" w/tag and cork. the other is red wing collectors society 1990. I paid $25 each. Can anyone tell me if their worth anything? Ken
Larry I am not sure if you follow these or not.
Ken, I don’t really collect Commemoratives as they are not considered vintage pieces of Red Wing Stoneware. With this being said, I do not follow their values and just cannot give you an correct answer on them. Sorry, Al Kohlman
STACY — Al is correct. RWCS commemoratives are not vintage items made by the Red Wing potteries and original Red Wing is our focus. In my opinion questions about commemoratives should not be posted here. And like Al, I do not follow current values for commemoratives so my opinion isn’t worth much. I’m also concerned that postings about RWCS commemoratives will lead to questions about other modern souvenir and reproduction items, to which I would have to respond "I don’t know". The two commemorative jugs were a good deal at $25 each. Value is probably in the $50-100 range. Thanks…..Larry
