Hi, I would like to know your estimate on what I think is called a sponge band mixing bowl. It is in good to very good condition, measures 7 3/8" x 4 1/4", has a small, cross shaped crack (photo) extending from the rim to inside the bowl, 2 small chips around the base and some raised areas contained in the glaze(photo)around outside of the bowl. There is no advertising. I would very much appreciate your evaluation. Thank you. Dee

Answer: Dee, in today’s economy with money being tight, collectors are looking for absolutely mint pieces and bowls are at the top of the list. Any damage, such as chips, cracks or hairlines and the value just bombs. With your description, I would place the value of your bowl between $25 & $30. Al Kohlman
