We came across a beutiful piece of stoneware at a clients estate sale. It is from Hazel Pure Food Co. In some research i have done i have seen some similar butter crocks that are Red Wing, but i do not see any mark on the bottom that shows RWSCo or any other mark identifying it as Red Wing. Is this a red wing piece? Steve

Answer: Yes Steve, this is a Red Wing piece. Hazel Pure Food Company was a large customer of Red Wing and there were a large number of these butter crocks (both signed & unsigned) produced. Al Kohlman
