Hi – I’m wondering if this 6 gallon crock is Red Wing – there is no oval for the red wing on it. It is in excellent condition other than the faint white spot on the front, no cracks, etc. Can you tell me what this might be worth? Thanks!
Answer: Your 6 gallon Elephant ear crock was produced by the Minnesota Stoneware Company (yes it is considered Red Wing). The value in mint condition is between $175 & $200. If it had an oval the value would be a little higher. Al Kohman
