Question:
I recently acquired a No. 5 Red Wing Ice Water crock and was wondering if you could give me any information on it, including a ball park value. I think it is fascinating and really enjoy the old crocks. It does not have a lid. I have included a photo for you to review. Tammy
Answer: Tammy, your 5 gallon Red Wing Ice Water is just gorgeous. It is to bad that it is cracked on the bottom or the value would be $1000 to $1200 or maybe even higher. These Ice waters were produced between 1909 and 1920. Yours is just loaded with decoration and the markings are just perfect. I would think the value would be between $500 & $600 with the crack. Just a beautiful piece. Can you tell I love Ice Waters????????? Al Kohlman
