Question:
Can you identify these pieces ? What is the pattern called, what are the pieces and what would be their value ? Thank you in advance. Sheila

Answer: The items in the photo are a creamer and a gravy boat in the Lanterns pattern, one of many patterns produced in the Concord shape. The pattern is named for the Chinese Lantern flowers displayed on the sides. Lanterns was designed by Belle Kogan, a well known designer from New York. The pattern was introduced in 1952 and discontinued in 1955. Assuming excellent condition, the creamer is worth $15-20 and the gravy boat $20-25.
