Hello again, I am posting photos of two #4 jugs we have inherited. I know nothing of their uses or of their worth. I do not believe either to be cracked, but there are some minor chips. I have posted two photos so you can see their markings, and the tops with handles. I would appreciate any information u can provide to their age, worth, and what they were used for. Asnwer: Mindi, your Red Wing 4 gallon shoulder jugs were produced between 1917 & 1930. They were used in the fields for water and also for making wine and other canned juices. Value on these are higher than the 5′s & 3 gallon jugs. $125 to $150 each in perfect condition. Al Kohlman
