Question:
This piece has been in my family for many years, I was told by my Grandmother that is a noon-hour piece made by employees during their noon hour. Is this true and what would the value be? Emma

Answer: Emma, this pottery piece from your grandmother could be a Red Wing lunch hour piece or another pottery piece from some other potter or stoneware company. We would need some kind of documentation of history on this piece to connect it to Red Wing or the piece would have to be signed by the potter or Red Wing to verify it as such. Without this type of history, there is just no way to say it is Red Wing or to place a value on it. With this being said, see what you can find on this piece and let me know. Thanks Al Kohlman
