Question:
i have a 4 gallon dark brown crock with a spicket and a lid the lid id dark brown with a 2 inch wide un finished or white ring on it the spicket is chrome the bottom is marked with an rrp co.and a crown with a 4 in the head stone area i cant find any info on this please help. Matt
Answer: Matt, Your 4 gallon Albany slip crock was made by National Pottery which operated in Roseville,Ohio,likely circa 1900-1925 or so. It is not Red Wing and therefore I have no idea of it’s value. Hope this helps some. Al Kohlman
