Question:
I have included a couple of pictures of a crock that belongs to my mom. She bought it 42 years ago in Bloomington, Indiana at an antique store. She says it was "old" when she purchased it. We think it might have the "bee sting" decoration on the front but other than that we are clueless. We would love to know more about this interesting piece of pottery, including what you think it might be worth. Thank you for your time. Susan
PS – there are no imprints or manufacturers marks on it as far as we can see.
Answer: Susan, the style of the number 3 tells me that your mother’s piece was manufactured in Ohio. Not being Red Wing, I just have no idea on it’s worth. Al Kohlman
