Question:
Enclosed are photos of a single handle salt-glazed beehive jug. It doesn’t have any marks as to who made it. It is 18" high and 11-1/2" diameter of bottom. It has turkey droppings and some discoloration as you can see on the photos. It is in good condition except for a glazed-over chip on the inside of the spout and a small dent on the side. Could you tell me if it is Red Wing and what is the value? Thank you. Dayton

Answer: Dayton, your jug is not Red Wing. Most likely an Ohio piece. Not being Red Wing, I just have no idea of it’s value. Al Kohlman
