Question:
We have a crock that has the wing on the front, the Red Wing stamp below it and under one of the handles it has Patented Dec 21 1915. It is in pretty good condition with some minor chips. I was just wondering what it may be worth. We have another one in the garage but I cannot get at it to describe it. They are from my wife’s grandfather. It’s about 17"high and 16" wide.

Answer: If the chips are not to large and you cleaned up this 12 gallon Red Wing crock with it’s 6 inch wing, I think a value in the range between $150 & $180 would be a good bet. If the chips are large, the the value will be reduced. Al Kohlman
