Question:
I have a salt glaze stoneware churn, 3 gallon, and a 5 point upside down star in cobalt. The lid appears to have a brown glaze. There are no other marks. The lid has chips and the churn has cracks. I have no idea who the maker is and have been researching with no luck. What I want to know is who made it and what the value may be.
Answer: I have not seen this marking either. Your churn is not Red Wing, but have no idea of who may have manufactured it. Sorry. Al Kohlman
