Answer: Paula, these stone mason fruit jars were produced in black or blue ink and many have a patent date of Jan. 24, 1899. This tells me that they were produced between 1899 & 1916. They came in 3 sizes ( 1 gal, 1/2 gal & 1qt). 1/2 gal & 1qt in mint condition $225. 1 gal in mint condition $850 to $950. Al Kohlman
