i purchased a 3 gal. salt glaze crock with a s.a. design on it could this be red wing and maybe what the value is thanks.

Answer: A mint 3 gallon SA crock would have a value between $200 & $300 depending on how strong the markings and finding the right SA collector. Red Wing did make these crocks and I do believe that other stoneware companies may have produced them as well. Potters did move around, so it is not uncommon to see the same decorations on stoneware from different potteries. Al Kohlman
