Question:
I have a "5, Vacuum, Poultry, Waterer,Made by the,Red wing Potteries, Red Wing MINN" It is three pieces with a lid, % gallon jug and a water basin. I would like a value and more importantly a year of production. There is no wing on the piece.

Answer: You do not see to many of these Red Wing 5 gallon Poultry vacuums around. With the potteries oval, your poultry fountain was manufactured between 1936 & 1947. If your poultry fountain and its base (water basin) is original and in mint condition the value would be around $400. I do see the fountains every so often, but it is the basins that are very hard to find. Al Kohlman
