What can you tell me about these jars? Origin, purpose, value? The large jar is 6.5” across the base, 9” tall Small jars are 4” across the base as 7” tall. Stamped on the lid of the glass jar: WHITALL, TATUM & Co. PHILADELPHIA, NEW YORK, PAT. JUNE 11th 1895 Thank you!
Answer: These crocks were not manufactured by Red Wing and therefore I would have no idea of their value. However, with no decoration or advertising, the value would be quite low. These crocks were used for canning or storing jellies, butter, cheese, etc. Wish I could help you further, but just have no real idea of their value. Al Kohlman
