I was sent information about a Red Wing Jug 3gal with my great grand father’s business logo on it. I was not aware that these jugs existed or how rate they might be. Do you know how rare this might be and value? Thank you Harvey

Answer: Harvey, your great grandfather’s jug is rare in the sense of it’s size and advertising. Chicago was know for its many Liquor dealers, and being close to Red Wing, there were a number of advertising jugs made for these dealers. Your jug was manufactured in the early 1900′s. In mint condition the value will be between $1,200 & $1,500. Very nice advertising jug. Nice to hear someone in the family ended up with one. Al Kohlman
