Question:
This is another 2 gallon crock I recieved and it has no writing on the bottom. It’s size is 9 1/2 round by 9 3/4′ tall. The inside has a smooth dark brown finish. It has a couple of chips/flaws on the top inside rim and two small ones on the bottom edges. It has been in my family for many years. I too; would like to know it’s value and what it was used for. Amswer: Mindy, your Red Wing 2 gallon salt glazed target marked crock was used of canning of meats and vegetables. In Mint condition it would have a value between $125 & $150. The chips on the inside rim would reduce it’s value somewhat. Al Kohlman
