Question:
Hi, my husband has a 20 gallon redwing crock with a lid…..we would like to know the approx value of this item should we decide to sell it. thank you Karen

Answer: Karen, your 20 wing crock (just the crock) in mint condition would have a value in the range of $150 to $200. This is do to the 4 /12" wing. If it had the 6" wing, the value would be higher. The lid on your husband crock has a brown tint to it. This is do to the salt films in the kiln from the salt glaze era. The brown tint on a zinc glaze crock reduces it’s value. In mint condition, the lid would be in the range of $100. These prices are for mint pieces. If there is any damage, the value will be decreased. Hope this is of some help. Al Kohlman
