Here is the picture of the crock I sent a question about earlier regarding the piece I recieved from my mother. Hopefully, this will be helpful to you in telling me more about it’s value, age, and if it is a Red Wing piece. Thank you Doug.

 

Answer: Doug, from what I can see of your crock, it appears to be Red Wing. The lazy 8 target mark was also used by the Western Stoneware Company, so it is a common decoration and was used quite often in production. Your crock was manufactured somewhere between 1877 and 1895. In mint condition, it has a value between $175 and $225. Thank you for the photo. Al Kohlman
