I have A Red Wing Beehive jug it is a 3 gallon and in perfect condtion on the front is a big bowtie and twrils down like a tornado big and bold from the top all the way down to about 3 inches from the botton is this rare and about how much is it worth… thank you Roy Toso

Answer: Roy, with the photo of your jug being so small, I just cannot say if this is Red Wing or not. A photo of the back of the handle along with a strait on photo of the jug would better help me. However, lets say it is Red Wing. This decoration is very common among salt glazed jugs and a number of mid-western potteries used it. With this being said, this decoration carries the lowest value. In Mint condition with no staining, you are looking at $250 to $300. Al Kohlman
