Question:
Can you tell if this is Red Wing? Thanks

Answer: No, the item in the photo was not made by Red Wing. Most likely it was made by John Taylor’s Louisville Pottery.

Red Wing made two green and brown-colored dinnerware patterns. Bakeware (commonly known as Oomph) was made in the 1940s; Village Green was made in the 1950s and 1960s. Other potteries made dinnerware with similar color schemes, and until a person becomes familiar with the different shapes and subtle color differences they are easily confused.
