Answer: A Red Wing teapot marked 259 on the bottom is from the Gypsy Trail Hostess Ware line, made in the early 1940s. Many collectors refer to the design as "acanthus leaves". Value for a yellow #259 teapot would be $40 to $60, assuming it is in excellent condition (no chips, cracks, hairlines, or stains).
