Question:
I have quite a few pieces of the Lexington Rose Dinnerware. There are 3 dinner plates, 4 side plates, 4 dessert bowls and 4 cups with saucers. There is also a vegetable serving bowl. They are all in excellent condition, no chips, cracks, etc. Can you give me an idea of what they are worth? Also I may be interested in selling these pieces and would like to know where would be the best site/source for selling them. Denise

Answer: The Lexington pattern was produced from 1941 to 1955 and sold very well over the years. A lot of Lexington remains available to collectors today. Your pieces are all common and not especially valuable. This group would be worth $50 to $75 in excellent condition. Chips, cracks, hairlines, stains and crazing all detract significantly from the value. For advice on selling Red Wing pottery please see the FAQ section at the top of this page.
