Question:
I know that this is from the Smartset line. It looks like a bud vase but I was unable to find a reference to a bud vase being manufactured for this line. It is 9 inches high at the highest point.It does have a small chip at the bottom rim. Please see the photo. Is this a bud vase? Thank you. Karen
Answer: Sorry but this is not a bud vase, although it would serve that purpose very nicely. This is a cruet that appears to be missing its stopper. Smart Set cruets were sold in pairs and used for serving liquids such as salad oil and vinegar.
