HI, I recently found a red wing Bob white water cooler at a thrift store,It is in excellent condition except the lid is missing. It has no cracks and has the spigot with it. I saw on your site where you had valued one identical to mine between 500.00 – 750.00. My question is do you know where I may find a lid to with mine? And if not how much is mine worth without the lid? thank you very much, Kaye Weaver

Answer: Sorry but I do not know where to find a cover for a Bob White water cooler. There are far more owners of coolers looking for covers than cover owners looking for a cooler. Covers were more easily broken or misplaced. This is true for any covered piece such as a casserole, beverage server, teapot, sugar bowl, etc. It is difficult to put a value on a cooler without a cover because most collectors will insist on a complete unit, including the spigot and the stand (base). I’d estimate a Bob White cooler in excellent condition but without a cover or stand would be worth around $200.  Larry
