Question:
I found this piece at a sale. I put it up for auction on ebay and stated that i didn’t know who mae it. A fellow ebayer said it was Red Wing. About 4 inches tall, bulbous Yellow with a Green Glaze, stopper does have a cork attached unmarked, 3 spurs on bottom, bottom unwiped. Not marked.Thank you Sandra

Answer:
You have a cruet with stopper in the Town & Country pattern. The color of your cruet is Sand. Town & Country was designed by Eva Zeisel and produced by Red Wing from 1947 to 1956. This pattern is very popular with collectors of both Red Wing pottery and Eva Zeisel designs.

Cruets are usually used in pairs – one for oil, one for vinegar – thus many collectors would consider your single cruet to be half of a pair. But yours is complete with the stopper, a part that frequently has been lost or broken. Assuming excellent condition, your cruet would be worth around $100.
