Question:
A Red Wing Friar Tuck (yellowish) glaze cookie jar from at least 60 to 70 years old. No photo. Lost in fire.

Answer:

The Friar Tuck cookie jar was introduced in 1941 and was produced into the mid-1950s. Several colors were available over the years by the most common color by far is yellow. "Book price" for a yellow Friar Tuck would be in the range of $100 to $150 in excellent condition. But because supply is greater than demand for this color, $50 to $75 would more accurately portray the true value in today’s market.
