Question:
The piece i have is from my grandfather, it is a pinkish colored donkey standing about five inches high wearing a bowtie type clothing around its neck that hangs down. On the bottom it says red wing and is numbered 876 which is etched in. i was wondering if this was a red wing product and how much it would be worth. thank you, Cory Seemann P.S. it is in excellent shape except for a little chip out of the left ear not very deep. Answer: Cory, this is a Red Wing item, made in1939. There were six different animals, often called ash receivers, but were actually bud vases. In perfect condition they sell for close to 175 or so. thanks, steve n rose
