Question:
My pottery vase is Light grey with purple, pinkish paint swirls over the handles. One handle is close to top and the other is in the middle. You can acually hold it by the handles. It has a square bottom pedestal and is app. 7 inchs tall. The mouth opening is 4 inches wide. It has a 1/8 inch chip on the bottom of the vase that is not visible when standing. On the bottom is RED WING U.S.A. 1107. I’m not able to do a picture. The Red Wing company told me about you and looked the piece up and thought it was made about 1942.
Answer: Early 40′s is the correct timeframe. the chip will hurt the value some. Value is around 35.00 or so. thanks, steve n rose
