Question:
I have a pair of ceramic Red Wing chickens or roosters #1438 that my mother had in the 50′s. They are around 8 to 9" in height with a white shiny glaze on the outside and a green glaze inside the vases. I was wondering about their value and the pottery artist. Thanks. Sharon
Answer: Hi Sharon, They were designed in 1954, I would attribute them to Charles Murphy, it looks like his style. There are a taller size of this shape as well. Value is around 100.00 each. thanks, steve n rose
