Question:
Hi. I have a 22 inch tall and about 28 inches around at the widest point, Wedgewood blue, perfect condition, floor vase (please see pictures attached) that is marked "Monmouth, Il" on the bottom. When I bought it in 1991 or so, I was told that it came from a renovation project (it was part of an old building) on the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City, Mo., where I reside. Can you give me a year of origin and approximate value of the art vase? Thank you for any help you can give me on this! R Jones

Answer: Hi, I think this would be from the thirties, I haven’t seen this particular shape, but it would be made by Western Stoneware. They don’t command the prices of a Red Wing floor vase, but it should bring 3-400. thanks, steve n rose
