Diane Hallstrom, RWCS Foundation Board Member, announces that the fall fundraiser auction of the Red Wing Collectors Society Foundation is canceled for this year.
The RWCS Foundation felt that they did not have a sufficient number of items for the auction. The Board of Directors felt that it was very important to make it a good experience for all; especially our first one.
"We have canceled for this year, but are still looking for additional items and are planning to hold an auction in the fall of 2009." said Diane Hallstrom.
The planned facility for the fundraising auction, Grandpa’s Garage in Cannon Falls, was very understanding of the desire to have more pieces for our auction. They have graciously offered to extend the use of the facility again in 2009 for the same price of ~No Charge!~
"We really appreciated the support of Grandpa’s Garage and are looking forward to having our auction in 2009." said Hallstrom.
