Mark Collins has agreed to and was voted by the RWCS Board of Directors as the Interim Treasurer of the Society.

Mark hails from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He has been a member of the RWCS since 1999, primarily collects stoneware and art pottery. He also collects Cahoy Pottery which comes from his home area in Tripp County South Dakota.

Professionally, Mark is an attorney who has practiced law for the past 15 years and has been an Assistant Attorney General since 1995. Currently he works throughout South Dakota prosecuting crimes involving drugs and violent crimes.

Mark considered Jerry Schleich his mentor as he started aquiring Red Wing.  They had their common interest in both Red Wing and in their careers as attorneys. He holds his memories of Jerry in high regard.

Please join me in welcoming Mark to the RWCS Board of Directors.
