Minnesota Stoneware Company 3 gallon elephant ear crock

Question

bought this about 45 years ago at a small roadside stand near Buda, TX. All I know about it is what I can read on the internet. Can you tell me something about its history and value. It has just a few very small chips around the base and one small hairline crack. I’ve attached pictures. There is nothing on the bottom.

Answer

Randy, you have a Minnesota Stoneware Company 3 gallon elephant ear crock which was produced between 1895 & 1906.  With the small chips and hairline crack, the value is $40 to $50.  Al Kohlman
