Red Wing 155 vase

Question: Greetings,  I inherited a Red Wing Pottery Vase from my grandmother.   I would like to find out how much it is worth.  It is 13 inches tall—green glaze with two handles.  It is in perfect condition.   It has the Red Wing Pottery mark on the bottom.   I expect that it was purchased in the 1920s or 30s.

Red Wing Vase 1259

Question:

Hi Red WIng Experts,

I inherited two Red Wing vases and am curious about their approximate value. I do some appraisals via email for antique tools and know the problems in doing so but I’m wondering if these vases are common or something worth investigating further.

See attached pictures. The vases are 9 1/4 inches tall, 3 inch square bottom, 5 inch square top. The markings on the bottom are very hard to read but I think it says

1959

Red Wing

USA

There are no external chips but one vase has some interior cracking in the glaze.

Thanks for the free service you provide.

Mike
