Question:
I have a Red Wing console(?) bowl with M-1502 mark on bottom and paper Red Wing art pottery label red/gold on the inside. It is approx 17-18 inches long. Three-legged bowl comes to a squared point in one end. I’m not able to find it listed anywhere. Red Wing Trading Post referred me to you. Any help on age, value, etc?? Thanks! Gayle (I’m not able to send a pic)
Answer: Hi Gayle
It’s part of a line done by Charles Murphy, circa 1956. Hand decorated, I believe. Value on this is around 95.00 or so. thanks, steve n rose

I recently acquired this pot from a yard sale and have been researching it to find its origin and value. It’s a two gallon Union Stoneware, Minn., brown glaze on the interior, cobalt blue ’2′ on the front. No other markings. I’ve reached an impasse. Any help? Thank You, J. Panarese
Hi, I’m trying to determine the maker of the pitcher. Stands 8 3/4" in height and 5 1/4" across the base. Same design on both sides (ladies head). Yellow base. thanks mary
I have an umbrella stand (22 X 10 in) that is unmarked. It has a light green glaze inside. It was in my great grandmother’s house in Red Wing for as long as anyone can remember. Is it Red Wing? and is it indeed an umbrella stand? my grandmother valued it highly and it was passed on to me.
I have two planters–a pegasus (7 X 7 in) and an elephant (3 X 2 in) and am wondering if they are Red Wing. I’m pretty sure the pegasus is Red Wing Pottery. Regarding the pegasus–is this design rarer than the pegasus design with the solid base and the face looking straight ahead?
