I have 2 Red Wing Vases, Light Blue on the outside and Pink inside. They are approx. 8" high with a vine shaped handle and design. The bottom is marked Red Wing 1102, U.S.A. I would appreciate any information, they belonged to my Mother. Thank you.
Answer: Hello, your vases date to around 1941. the glaze is luster blue, lined with pink. Some of them come with a different glaze color on the leaves. Value is around 45.00 each. Thanks, steve n rose

hi,thanks for your time. i have a bid bath that is stamped redwingart pottery on both the bowl and the pedistal.it is held together with an allthread that runs to the bottom of the base. the bowl is held on with a rot iron tree that screws to the top. it stands over two foot tall, it has ivey vinning that goes around the bowl and the bottom of the base the pedistal is fluted also.the bird bath is a rich creamy color with very small brown flecks in it.ther is one chip in the top of the pedistal. i have looked and looked for information on this and found none. hope you can help me ! thanks specialed
Answer: Red Wing made several bird bath’s, around 1929, it might be shape #711. it sounds like your description. Nice items, and to have it marked with all the parts will discount the base chip. Value is around 1000.00.

we have a "Redwing Union Stoneware Co." crock that has a number "6" on the it..assuming it is a 6 gallon..with wire handles. the oval is approx 1 3/4" wings are approx 2 3/4". It is in perfect conditon & after reviewing different sites we have determined that it is from 1930-1936 as 1936 is when the name change to Redwing Pottery. Answer: Hi, I think this may be an Ohio RumRill item, not one made by Red Wing. When George left Red Wing, he worked for other companies. This number doesn’t fit in Red Wings sequences. Value around 20.00 or so. thanks, steve n rose

The condition is very good, with no chips. It was bought at a North Carolina auction and represented as being from a well-known old resort hotel in Pinehurst. Also, if it is a sand jar, how did that name originate?
Answer: It could be Red Wing, it’s real hard to say for sure, unless they are marked. RRP out of Ohio did the same mold, and similar brushware glaze. It is a lobby/sand jar. They were used in larger establishments for ashtrays, being filled with sand, hence "sand jar". If it’s marked the value is around 500.00 or so, not marked around 250-275 range. thanks, steve n rose
