Double Spout Pitcher, dutch blue
Question:
I have not been able to find any information on this piece or anything even like it. It’s a small (about10 inches tall?, blue, double spouted picture with a handle between the spouts. It has a raised design on both sides that appear to be a circle of leaves with a star at the top. The bottom reads "red wing 766". The piece is in perfect condition, no chips, cracks, fading etc. It also has the original receipt from my Grandfathers purchase tucked inside and it’s dated 1941.Do you have ANY information about this piece and a possible estimated value? Due to the economy I’m forced to sell some things. A shame, I love this piece.
Answer: Hi, your timeframe is correct, the glaze looks to be dutch blue. This shape is fairly hard to find, and collectors like this glaze. The original receipt would be fun as well. Value around 100.00 or so. thanks, steve n rose

Ginger Jar marked Halger 4089
Question:
My friend’s mother purchased a white ginger jar at the Red Wing store in 1956.On the bottom it says "halger 4089 USA".It is 10 inches tall – the base is 6 inches across and it it 9 inches across at the widest part.Would anyone know if it has any value besides sentimental?? Thank you so much for your time. Linda Headlee
Answer: Hi Linda, I think you have a piece of Haeger pottery, not Red Wing. The numbers don’t match anything I have. Value maybe around 45.00 or so. thanks, steve n rose

Question:
Redwing USA #733 Birchbark canoe it is about 17 inches long. It was passed down in my family and I have no idea. My dad had a note inside that said scarce. I was wondering what year it was made and the value of it. I have it on display and have often wondered about it. It is in excellent condition. Were would be the best place to sell this? Ebay? Thank you very much for your help and God Bless. Brandon
Answer: Hi Brandon, Your canoe is part of the Brichbark line, circa 1960. There are 3 different sizes of canoe, this being the largest. They are fairly hard to come by. Value is around 300 or so. Ebay would be your best bet if you are going to sell it. thanks, steve n rose
